The NOVA Titan III Chuck 1 1/4″8TPI is our brand new, largest and most powerful chuck in the NOVA Chuck Range. Also one of our most versatile chucks. Suitable for lathes with 16” – 24” swing, it delivers superior holding power for BIG projects with 3 fixing screws for each jaw. It comes with a ‘jumbo sized’ PowerGrip Jaw. This chuck is an ideal companion for the power and capacity of our 16” NOVA 1624, NOVA DVR XP and NOVA Galaxi lathes. The NOVA Titan III is capable of handling much larger work than the SuperNova2. Versatile – compatible with all NOVA tandard accessory jaw sets (except Infinity). This chuck provides a wider diameter range to ‘stretch’ the grip range of all the standard NOVA Chuck accessory jaws well beyond the SuperNova2 Chuck. Complete with a fully sealed backing plate, to keep dust away from gearing. Extra long, precision hardened jaw slides with safety stop, featuring 3 screw positions for added security. Fast adjustment and powerful grip with precise hardened geared action. The ball nose, comfort grip handle locks positively and quickly into pinion. The NOVA Titan III has the largest range of accessories on the market, as its fully compatible with NOVA Standard Chuck jaws and accessories, plus has two optional large, heavy duty accessory bowl jaws with wide face and deep grip – specially designed for large turning projects. This chuck comes in direct thread only (1 1/4”8TPI).
