You can remove them when you need to work in tighter spaces. A hole on the end allows you to hang the level from a peg for convenient storage. The Milwaukee billet torpedo level features amplified rare earth magnets for over 2X the holding power of leading competitors. The maximized viewing area ensures that the user can make a fast and accurate readings of 1/8 In. and 1/4 In. per foot in any position.
