It charges the 20V MAX at 1.5 Ah DCB201 in 45 minutes, the 12V MAX at 1.3 Ah DCB120 in just 40 minutes and 90 minutes for the 20V MAX at 3.0 Ah DCB200, so you can swap batteries from the tool to the charger without having to wait. This DeWalt battery charger has an automatic shutoff feature to keep the battery from overly discharging. An LED indicator light tells you at a glance if the battery is charging, charge, too cold, too hot, if there’s a problem with the power line or if you need to replace the pack, so you never have to guess.
