This Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless rotary hammer includes a dust extractor attachment with HEPA filter, 20 Inch contractor tool bag and a dust case with HEPA filter cleaning mechanism. The 1 Inch rotary hammer precisely combines Makita BL™ brushless motor technology with concrete dust extraction without the cord. Hammer with HEPA dust extraction vacuum attachment, is an OSHA Table 1 compliant concrete drilling solution when used in conjunction with filter cleaning mechanism dust case. Powerful and efficient BL™ brushless motor with variable speed delivers 0 to 950 RPM, 4700 BPM and 1.7 ft-lb of impact energy. The separate vacuum motor aids in increasing suction efficiency without sacrificing the performance of the rotary hammer. The HEPA dust extraction vacuum attachment is trigger-activated for increased operator convenience. Rubber suction gasket of hammer is specially designed to have consistent contact with the work surface, where the dust is channeled to the clear dust container with HEPA filter that captures 99.95% of dust particles. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Extractor is powered by a separate motor for maintaining drilling performance and for providing a 2 second delay to capture remaining dust.
